PRIDE MONTH Panel Reading with Manic D Press at Books Inc in The Castro

Join us for a panel reading celebrating Pride Month and the publications of local press Manic D. Headliner Daniel LeVesque, author of Hairdresser on Fire, will lead the way for a wide array of styles by the likes of Justin Chin, author of 98 Wounds, Alvin Orloff, author of Why Aren't You Smiling?, Larry-Bob Roberts, author of International Homosexual Conspiracy, Thea Hillman, author of Intersex (For Lack of A Better Word), Daphne Gottlieb, author of 15 Ways to Stay Alive, Michelle Tea, author of The Beautiful: Collected Poems, and Stephanie Rosenbaum, author of The Astrology Cookbook: A Cosmic Guide to Feasts of Love. Refreshments will be served and treats from Stephanie's Astrology Cookbook will be featured!

One of Books Inc.’s favorite aspects of being booksellers is getting the chance to welcome and host hundreds of authors a year, from house-hold names to local, debut authors and we are so excited to begin reintroducing the Bay Area with “The Experience You Can’t Download” in our stores with traditional author talks and booksignings.
