Former jounalist, and voice of the blog Working Moms Break, Katrina Alcorn shares Maxed Out. Part memoir, part journalistic research, Katrina's insights examine what it means to be a working mom today,and how to bounce back healthier, happier, and more productive when the pressure becomes too much.Katrina will be joined by Joan Blades, co-founder and president of MomsRising.org, a leading advocacy organization working to increase family economic security, and to end discrimination against women and mothers.

One of Books Inc.’s favorite aspects of being booksellers is getting the chance to welcome and host hundreds of authors a year, from house-hold names to local, debut authors and we are so excited to begin reintroducing the Bay Area with “The Experience You Can’t Download” in our stores with traditional author talks and booksignings.
