TICKETS

Join us for a conversation, live cooking demo, and an opportunity to ask your own questions of chef and author Yotam Ottolenghi. Ticket holders have the exclusive opportunity to purchase a signed copy of Flavor, coming from Omnivore Books (in San Francisco).

With more than seven best-selling cookbooks, including PlentyJerusalem (written with Sami Tamimi), and Sweet (written with Helen Goh), Yotam Ottolenghi has reminded home chefs around the world that food is not just about what we eat – it’s about joy, pleasure, surprise, and a sense of place and home. Ottolenghi is chef and owner of the Nopi and Rovi, both in London, and he writes a weekly food column for The Guardian’s Feast Magazine and a monthly food column for The New York Times. In his latest book, Ottolenghi Flavor, Ottolenghi reveals how to understand, build, and amplify flavor with more than 100 plant-based recipes.

One of Books Inc.’s favorite aspects of being booksellers is getting the chance to welcome and host hundreds of authors a year, from house-hold names to local, debut authors and we look forward to continuing to provide the Bay Area with “The Experience You Can’t Download” in our stores when we can assure authors and guests that it is safe to do so. In the meantime, we are working on an exciting list of virtual events for both adults and children and we look forward to exploring this new format with you.

Sales equate success, and as with in-store events, booksales made from an independent bookstore benefit the author, publisher, and lead to future event bookings. Please help us keep the Bay Area the wonderful literary hub that it is by supporting your local Books Inc.
