Mo Rocca is a correspondent for CBS Sunday Morning and a frequent panelist on NPR’s hit weekly quiz show Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me! His long love of obituaries has him led to create the podcast Mobituaries, an irreverent but deeply researched appreciation of the people (and things) of the past who have long intrigued him—from an unsung Founding Father to the first Chinese-American superstar, from Neanderthals to the station wagon. Rocca spent four seasons as a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and is creator and host of the Cooking Channel’s My Grandmother’s Ravioli, in which he learned to cook from grandparents across America. Onstage, he starred on Broadway in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and as Doody in the Southeast Asian tour of the musical Grease. Rocca currently hosts The Henry Ford’s Innovation Nation Saturday mornings on CBS and is the author of Mobituaries: Great Lives Worth Reliving, a charmingly irreverent and rigorously researched book that celebrates the dead people who made life worth living.
Adam Savage is an industrial special effects designer and former co-host of The Discovery Channel’s Mythbusters with Jamie Hyneman.
