Brian Greene is widely recognized for his groundbreaking discoveries in the field of superstring theory.  Greene is co-founder and director of Columbia’s Institute for Strings, Cosmology, and Astroparticle Physics, and his many books include The Elegant UniverseThe Fabric of the Cosmos, and The Hidden Reality. His newest, Until the End of Time: Mind, Matter, and Our Search for Meaning in an Evolving Universe, explores how life and mind emerged from the initial chaos, and how our minds, in coming to understand their own impermanence, seek in different ways to give meaning to experience: in narrative, myth, religion, creative expression, science, the quest for truth, and our longing for the eternal.

Gina Pell is the Content Chief of The What, a lifestyle and culture publication with a global readership and engaged online community. She is an award-winning Creative Director and tech entrepreneur who was an early pioneer in the digital media space.

One of Books Inc.’s favorite aspects of being booksellers is getting the chance to welcome and host hundreds of authors a year, from house-hold names to local, debut authors and we look forward to continuing to provide the Bay Area with “The Experience You Can’t Download” in our stores when we can assure authors and guests that it is safe to do so. In the meantime, we are working on an exciting list of virtual events for both adults and children and we look forward to exploring this new format with you.

Sales equate success, and as with in-store events, booksales made from an independent bookstore benefit the author, publisher, and lead to future event bookings. Please help us keep the Bay Area the wonderful literary hub that it is by supporting your local Books Inc.
