Blue Ethel by Jennifer Black Reinhardt

Ethel the cat is old, fat, black, and white and she is very set in her ways, until the day she turns BLUE! This is a new favorite of mine. It explores friendship and accepting people (cats) for who they are. I love reading it for storytime too.

— Dori, at Books Inc. Palo Alto
