Billy Collins is the first poet since Robert Frost who has managed to combine high critical acclaim with broad popular appeal. He has published eight collections of poetry, including Questions About Angels, The Art of Drowning, The Trouble With Poetry and Other Poems, and most recently, Horoscopes for the Dead, and Aimless Love: New and Selected Poems 2003 – 2013.
Patti Smith first gained recognition in the 1970s for her revolutionary merging of poetry and rock. Among her many recordings, Horses is hailed as one of the top one hundred albums of all time by Rolling Stone.
