About the Author


(1898-1963) He held the chair of Medieval and Renaissance English Literature at Cambridge University in England. Paul Scofield is Curator of Vertebrate Zoology at Canterbury Museum in Christchurch, New Zealand. He has been a seabird biologist for more than twenty years and has traveled from the high Arctic to the Antarctic studying seabirds.

David Suchet, famed as TV's Hercule Poirot, has starred with the RSC, on London's West End and on Broadway, winning four Olivier nominations and a Tony(R) nomination. He has starred in numerous films and is director of the Old Vic Theatre, and a member of the Trust Council of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
